Using Outlines In Microsoft Word
If you ever need to view a Word document in a summary form, change the order of whole chunks of your work, or create long documents, then Outlines can help you. Word's Outlines are based on headings and subheadings, and enable you to visually collapsing the details under a heading or subheading so you see the headings only. You can then drag one section above or below another to easily change the order of a document, or simply navigate through a long document by selecting different outlined parts. This article describes how to go about creating and using Outlines in Word.
