To Get The Best Results, Prepare For The Worst
None of us really want anything to go wrong. If we plan for something to happen, if we try to make it happen, we're entitled to hope that all will go well. And yet things do go wrong; mistakes are made, accidents happen, unforeseen obstacles crop up, nature (or sometimes human nature) gets in the way. So, entitled as we are to wish for our intentions to come flawlessly to fruition, it would surely be a bad idea to assume that they'll pan out that way.
