An Introduction To Tracking In Microsoft Project

Once you start using Microsoft Project you'll soon be setting up new projects using the default Gantt Chart view, with the Entry table showing on the left and the Gantt Chart on the right. Each project consist of a series of tasks with different durations, all linked together to build the overall project plan. In this process you would normally also set a project start date and Project displays all the linked tasks on the Gantt Chart and determines the project end date. Alternatively you can set the project end date and Project displays all the linked tasks and determines the project start date.
